The Mirage of Control

My Perspective
We focus on the Interaction Layer because that is where policies go to die. You can have the best AI ethics statement in the world, but if your agentic workflow allows an LLM to generate and execute its own Python code without a sandbox, you aren’t governed. You’re just lucky so far.
We are entering a period where “Governance” and “Cybersecurity” are becoming the same thing. You cannot have one without the other. If your policy doesn’t include real-time monitoring of your AI’s “Intent,” then it isn’t a policy; it is a history lesson. We need to stop writing rules for how AI should think and start building cages for what it can do.
