Faster and faster and faster. So many cat-and-mouse shenanigans with all these AI manoeuvrings. I wonder where it'll all end?

Maybe with AI’s capabilities being limited or AI security being at the forefront. Anyway, it’s still up in the air.

do you think AI should be limited?

I don’t think AI itself should be limited but how it’s used absolutely should be governed.

In security, AI is both the attacker and the defender. Limiting the technology slows down defenders just as much as it slows attackers. What actually works is control at the usage layer, clear policies, monitoring, and guardrails around what AI can access, generate, and act on.

So it’s less about “limiting AI” and more about securing how AI interacts with data, systems, and users.

This is a really sharp breakdown of the current "arms race" in cybersecurity. You’ve nailed the shift from reactive to predictive defense. It's no longer about having the best locks, but about having a system that can sense someone touching the door handle before they even try to turn it.

Great to have your voice here on Substack, Suny. Subscribed and look forward to reading more. I would love you to do the same, if my writing resonates.
